Rooted in the Himalayas
Doon Gooseberry Farm Self-Help Group (SHG) is based in Village Kotra Kalyanpur, within the Sahaspur block of Dehradun district.
The group comprises 10 women, most of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. Drawing upon locally grown produce from our farm —including amla (Indian gooseberry), ginger, garlic, and other natural ingredients—the members prepare a wide range of value-added products.
Our offerings include pickles, juices, chutneys, and specialty products such as Kali Haldi (black turmeric) per and Seabuckthorn juice. All products are made using natural ingredients, without artificial additives and colour, ensuring authenticity, quality, and health benefits.
Through our collective efforts, the women of the SHG are not only promoting sustainable farming and traditional food processing practices but are also creating livelihood opportunities and contributing to the economic empowerment of rural women.
Our products have been widely appreciated by consumers for our taste, purity, and nutritional value.
